Hi Denise!
I know you must be getting so excited knowing your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is a few short days away!!!
Transportation from
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to
Magic Kingdom Park is quite simple and there are two options I love!
You can take the
Resort Monorail. It's an amazing attraction in itself! Once you have been picked up, you will make a quick stop at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) to pick up and drop off Guests. Your next stop will be Magic Kingdom Park.
Another option is to take the short walking path from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there, you can take a
ferryboat to Magic Kingdom Park.
We have done both, and each one provides a magical trip to a magical theme park! It will really be a matter of personal preference. My son prefers to walk over to the TTC while my daughter prefers to ride the Monorail. There really is no rhyme or reason to either opinion. So - we mix it up and do both throughout our vacation.
Before you make your decision, you might also check with a Cast Member to ensure both the Monorail and ferryboats are operating. The Cast Member will be able to provide current information to ensure you select the most efficient mode of transportation to Magic Kingdom Park at that moment.
I hope this helps you with your planning. Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you need any other information as you put the finishing touches on your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
