    Is it best to plan your trip a year in advance?

    Kenya there isn't a set time that is best to plan a Walt Disney World vacation but the sooner you can make your resort reservations the better as during busy times you might not get your first choice of room.  All dining and recreation reservations are now able to be made 90 days out from your arrival date.

    I do plan my Disney vacations quite a few months in advance as I enjoy the process.  By starting early you can really take your time to research all the options available to you whether it be dining, recreation, special events, and park attractions.  The Disney website, www.disneyworld.com is quite extensive and there is so much to learn so by starting early you can really have all the details done before you go.  Take one park at a time and learn what is offered and what interests you and your family. Make lists and notes for each park of things you absolutely want to do.  You can develop your own personal park maps on the Disney website and have those done and sent to you before you go.  Let the entire family participate in the planning.  When it is done early enough you can alleviate the stress and instead enjoy the process!
