Welcome to planDisney Michelle!
I can totally understand you don't want to be tied to
Dining Reservations while on your vacation. Sometimes you just want to be spontaneous with your meals. Hakuna Matata, no worries! We gotcha' covered!
One option is to stick to
Quick Service dining. At Disney World, "quick" does not mean you will be stuck with burgers and fries for every meal. Enjoy lobster rolls at Columbia Harbor House, pulled pork or brisket at the
Regal Eagle Smokehouse, or fresh made-to-order rice and chicken bowls at Satu'li Canteen. For tradition, my family always needs a quick stop at
Casey's Corner for corn dog nuggets but pick what your family enjoys!
If you decide you want to do some Table Service meals without making reservations, you can always try doing
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability. You can do this on the My Disney Experience app on your phone to inquire about open tables. Try dining at off-hours like an early dinner or late lunch to increase your chances of a walk-up.
Whatever you decide, I hope you get to enjoy all the wonderful food Chef Mickey will be cooking up all over Walt Disney World! Enjoy!
