Best way to plan meals at Anaheim

Hey there, Jill! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad that you've stopped by with your planning question for us!

You've brought us a great question regarding meals while you are in Anaheim visiting Disneyland Resort. I'm happy to share that you have a lot of options! While you are visiting Disneyland Resort there are plenty of quick service options that you can walk up to and order or use mobile order in the Disneyland app. There are also locations that have table service that you would make advance dining reservations for. Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. You are also welcome to bring in your own food and snacks if you wish. Beyond the parks, you will also find food options both in the Downtown Disney District and Disneyland Resort Hotels.

The Disneyland Resort is situated in the middle of the city of Anaheim and there are options within walking distance and plenty of driveable options as well.

When my family visits the Disneyland Resort, we usually tend to do mostly quick service as there are so many great options. We love Pym Test Kitchen and Docking Bay 7. There are even days when we decide to make reservations for one larger meal and then just snack throughout the rest of the day. When we choose this option, we usually prefer to book Lamplight Lounge or use the mobile walk-up list for Lamplight Lounge - Boardwalk Dining.

Jill, I hope this information gives you plenty of options to think about. Please come back and visit again if you have any other questions for us!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
