Ahoy, Joseph!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help!
There's nothing I love more than a
Land and Sea Disney adventure - from Cinderella Castle to sand castles! A Disney vacation that includes fun and excitement in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, followed by rest and relaxation on the open seas...there's just nothing better.
The first thing you'll need to do is choose is your sail date in November, then work from there to book your Walt Disney World Resort stay before your cruise. When you're ready to book your vacation, you can reach out to the Disney Cruise Line agents at (800) 951-3532. The DCL agents can walk you through planning both the land and sea portions of your trip, as well as book Ground Transfers for your sailing party.
Disney Cruise Line Ground Transfers really give you a seamless transition between land and sea. A comfy Disney Cruise Line motorcoach will pick you up at your resort on the morning of your cruise and take you to Port Canaveral for the "Sea" portion of your adventure. The best part is that your luggage will be picked up at your resort room and be delivered directly to your stateroom on the ship!
Another option is to use an Authorized Disney Travel Planner when booking your surf and turf vacation. It doesn't cost a penny extra to use a Disney travel planner, and I like being able to have a contact person throughout the planning process that I know personally. Using a travel agent is my personal preference, and has worked for us when planning Disney vacations for many years. Whichever route you choose, the end result is the same - a magical Disney getaway on land and on sea.
I hope this information helps you with your planning! - Diane W.
