Hi William Emmanuel,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
When it comes to booking your
Walt Disney World vacation there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind! Since you’ll be traveling during the holiday season, I suggest you start looking for your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation first. As you can probably guess, this is a really busy time of year, with guests traveling from all over to enjoy the Theme Parks.
Your first step will be to choose your Resort once you
sign in; there are options for Value, Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villas. There are different themes to every Resort, so you’ll want to choose what your family might enjoy the most! Some of my favorite Resorts include Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I’ll also share the recent planDisney Podcast episode that specifically talks about the Resorts!
Once you think about the hotel your family would like to stay in, you’ll also want to think about how many days you’ll be in the Theme Parks. If you’re here for about five days, maybe four days in the Parks will be just the right number so you have a day to relax at your Resort. With the
tickets, you can either do one Park per day or do a Park Hopper (ability to move to another Park after 2:00 p.m.). When it comes to tickets, just think about your family and their desires for the trip, this will help you decide the number of days and ticket type!
Once your Resort and tickets are booked, you’ll also want to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations. These reservations pair with your tickets for Theme Park entry. Each person in your party will need a reservation each day they go into the Theme Parks. Since you’ll be traveling during the Christmas season, I highly recommend that you book your reservations as soon as you book your tickets, this way you’ll be ready to go for the vacation!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your family’s trip to the Walt Disney World Resort later this year. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
