What is the best plan of action for touring WDW? we are planning 2 days plus our time at MNSSHP at WDW during our 6 day stay. Any suggestions for the other 2 parks as well, 1 day at AK and 1 day at HS. I do have some character dining booked as well.

Hi, Susan!  In my experience, the best plan of attack is the old early bird plan - arrive when the park opens to grab the juiciest worms (in this case, the best attractions).  I would book your FastPass+ times for late morning or early afternoon, but if you arrive when the parks open, you can usually hit at least a couple of attractions before the lines become too long.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, we usually FastPass Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids, but we start the day without a FastPass at Kiliminjaro Safari.  The animals are usually slightly more active in the cooler morning hours, and the lines have typically been minimal. We might squeeze in two or three more things, take a lunch break, then use our FastPass selections.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, head straight for Tower of Terror or Rock-'n'-Roller Coaster.  We can often do both attractions within the first 30 or 45 minutes if we head there first.  We always FastPass+ Toy Story Midway Mania, but if you're not a thrill ride person, head there first thing and you can maybe do it twice in the first hour.

For Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, arrive at the gates at 4 o'clock to gain admission with your party ticket.  This is the only time I'll go against the early bird rule.  Do your FastPass+ attractions first.  After the first parade, the crowds usually thin somewhat, and you may be able to do more without the FastPasses later in the evening.

    Have an absolutely amazing time!
