Where is the best place within the theme parks (not counting Downtown Disney because I don't believe we will have time to make a trip there) to buy the exclusive Disney Mr. Potato Head accessories? Do all stores have the same selection?

Hi Sherryl!  Those Mr. Potato Head characters are so awesome and everyone is having a great time putting together their favorite look!

Unfortunately the absolute supreme place to find parts and accessories is in Downtown Disney at the Once Upon A Toy store. There you can find just about anything you need to make your personal Mr. Potato Head.

There are limited number of parts in the resort shops as well as in a few park shops. I was unable to confirm exactly which ones carry the most but as you enter the park check with Guest Services. They will be able to direct you to the store with the merchandise you are looking for. Mouse Gear in Epcot carries the most Disney merchandise other then the World of Disney in Downtown Disney so be sure and check there as well.  If you are looking for something very specific you might have to make the trip "Downtown".  Before you head down there for your vacation also call Merchandizing. Things change constantly so you will want to wait until you are about ready to go but they also can help identify where to find something specific on property. That number is 407-363-6200.
