Best place to view the fireworks at Epcot

Hello Lisa, and welcome to planDisney!

No matter how many times my family visits Walt Disney World, we always love ending the day with one of the breathtaking nighttime spectaculars.

When it comes to finding the best spot to view Luminous The Symphony of Us, the answer depends on your preferences. If you enjoy an up-close view to take in all the details, I recommend securing a front-row "on the fence" spot about 45 to 60 minutes before showtime. A prime location is at the entryway to World Showcase, between the two gift shops, Port of Entry and Disney Traders. If that area is unavailable due to a special event or other blockage, you can shift toward the Mexico Pavilion, aiming for a clear view of the large barge in the center of the lagoon. In fact, any spot along the fence with an unobstructed view of the barges will give you a fantastic experience.

For a more distant and elevated view, head to the second level of the Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Japan Pavilion. This spot offers a unique perspective, but it is very popular, so be sure to grab a place early.

Fun fact: One of the songs in Luminous The Symphony of Us, Heartbreak Symphony, was co-written by Scott Hoying, a member of the Grammy-winning a cappella group Pentatonix. His influence helps bring a powerful and emotional depth to the show’s stunning soundtrack.

I hope you have a magical time experiencing this unforgettable show. Happy planning!
