What's the best place to view the Dream-Along with Mickey show and the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade with small children? Is it advised to get there early? If so, how early? Thanks this panel has been a great help with planning our upcoming trip!

    Hi Heather,

Thank you for your kids words! It is our pleasure to assist you during your planning.

If you have small children, I'd try to get as close to the Castle Stage for Dream-Along with Mickey as I could.  That will give them the best chance for a good view.  Once you start getting a little further back, parents often put their kids on their shoulders to give them a better view which blocks people behind them.  The show is held a few times a day and I'd plan to arrive 20 - 30 minutes in advance.

The Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade route will be marked on your Guide Map.  It runs from Frontierland and makes its way towards Main Street (or vice versa).  There are great spots all along the parade route and I'd plan to stake out my spot about 30 minutes in advance.  With small children, waiting for the parade is a good time for a snack and a little down time.

The parade is typically held at 3 p.m. each afternoon.  I'd check the online calendar for the Magic Kingdom before I go and possibly plan to view the Dream-Along with Mickey performance just before the parade.  Once you've watched the performance, grab a spot in along the castle hub (right side if you're facing Cinderella Castle) or along Main Street.

Be sure to pick up a Times Guide available at the entrance of the Magic Kingdom, Guest Relations and most merchandise locations to confirm the times as schedules are always subject to change without notice.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
