where is the best place to stay with a 12 year old and a 7 year old

Hey Jennifer and welcome to planDisney!

Your Ohana is in for a special treat coming to the Walt Disney World Resort during the Christmas season. The children in your life are so lucky to have you planning for them! With so many wonderful Disney Resort Collection hotels it can feel a bit overwhelming trying to choose. My number one tip when making the choice is to consider what the children gravitate toward naturally.

What are your children's interests? What are their favorite Disney films? My goddaughter is an extreme animal enthusiast, so Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a perfect option to explore her wild side. Seeing a giraffe from my balcony made me feel like a kid again myself! She's also an Ariel lover so The Little Mermaid rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are where her dreams come true under the sea. Plus, it's a stop on the Disney Skyliner, which will have you soaring over Walt Disney World to Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT. Since your family will be here for Christmas, you may even consider Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. For Christmas, they have a massive gingerbread house in the lobby! Not to worry though, every Disney Resort Collection hotel decorates in a special way for the merriest season. No matter where you pick, you're sure to be full of holiday cheer.

Jennifer you can't go wrong at any hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort. Whatever sparks your babies' imagination is going to lead you to a magical stay!

    Happy planning!
