where is best place to stay thats not too expensive for my girlfriend and I. We plan on going to magic kingdom and epcot but will probably be going out to downtown disney every night. We wont have a car but dont was to wait in lines to get anywhere.

    Hi Craig,

If you want to keep expenses reasonable, I would recommend a moderate resort. Port Orleans French Quarter would be a great choice since the rooms there were recently renovated. There is boat transportation to Downtown Disney via the Sassagoula Riverboat. Buses would provide transport to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Proximity to the Magic Kingdom is difficult to achieve without paying a steep price. The monorail resorts are all deluxe hotels with larger price tags.

Without a car, there isn't one resort that would allow you to navigate to your chosen destinations without at least waiting some times for a bus. Park closing time is the craziest!

You could save money by staying at a value resort such as Pop Century and then splurging on a taxi during the busier travel times such as park closing time. See www.mearstransportation.com for information.

I love to be within walking distance of Epcot. The Yacht Club, Beach Club, and Boardwalk Inn Resorts are deluxe hotels, however. You may want to look into any deals available at WDW Swan and Dolphin. The site www.mousesavers.com does a great job of keeping up-to-date on current discounts.

    Have a great vacation!
