Hey there, Pamela!
Thanks so much for bringing your question to us at planDisney! We really welcome the moments when we can share our own vacation experiences that we've so enjoyed as Disney Guests as a way to help you plan your own magical getaway.
There's a lot I genuinely love about vacationing at Disney destinations. What appeals to me most about a Disney destination vacation is that it can offer a complete range of vacation vibes, from the magical and pixie-dusted high-energy excitement, attractions, and entertainment to the romantic, relaxing, and rejuvenating spaces.
Let me share a quick few of my personal favorite spaces that I find ideal for relaxing and romantic getaways. The spaces that come first to mind are
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village.Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa offers that laid-back, classic Florida vibe featuring stunning architecture and tranquil grounds. Waterfront dining scenes like
Narcoossee's, and royal hide-aways like
Enchanted Rose make for wonderful spots to connect and unwind. If it's pampering you're after, you can book an appointment at
Senses - A Disney Spa and Salon at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and simply let the world pass you by.
Disney's Yacht Club Resort is a favorite for its coastal charm, the serenity of Crescent Lake, and the picturesque view of
Disney's BoardWalk. For soaking in the sun while relaxing in the waters, you can set yourself down along
Stormalong Bay.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is a favorite because you feel carried away to breathtaking locales. Imagine yourself sitting back, relaxing, and taking in the expanse of the Savanna Overlook as you let the world go by to watch the wildlife go by. And the food! Immerse yourself in the surroundings of
Sanaa as you explore all the flavorful foods. (The bread service is simply a must!).
If you're up for venturing to the Atlantic Treasure Coast, I highly recommend a stay at
Disney's Vero Beach Resort, an easy 90-minute drive from Walt Disney World Resort. Over the years, we've taken many relaxing getaways that combined a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and a stay at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. The Resort itself is a delightful and charming oceanfront locale, and the town of Vero Beach is fun for a relaxing stroll. The Resort also offers nature activities focused on
sea turtle conservation.
Pamela, I do hope this serves up just a few ideas for the relaxing, water-centered, nature-inspired romantic getaway that's calling your name. If you have more questions as you begin to map out your journey, please come back and ask us!
