where is the best place to stay if you do not drive?

    Hi Joan Marie!

The best place to stay without a vehicle while at Walt Disney World will mostly depend on which parks you plan to spend your most time.

For an adult/teen oriented trip, stay near Epcot. The resorts - Boardwalk and Yacht/Beach Club - offer boat transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. In addition, you can walk to both parks.

If you have young children and/or will be spending more park days at the Magic Kingdom rather than the other parks, then choose a resort near the MK. Bay Lake Tower, Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian offer monorail service to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Monorail transportation to Epcot does require transferring at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Bay Lake Tower and the Contemporary are within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom!

Ft. Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge both offer boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom.

All other resorts on property offer bus service.
