What is the best place to stay the night before you depart on a DC if you are not staying at WDW? We are going on the Bahamas 4-night in March. Thank you!

    Hi Tassma,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Congratulations on booking your 4-night voyage, you've come to the right place with your planning questions!  Personally, when flying in the night before our voyage we prefer to stay at the Hyatt Hotel that is located inside the Orlando International Airport.  By doing this we don't have to take a shuttle once we land, we simply gather our bags and head upstairs to the hotel.  There are plenty of places to dine and shop that evening, and we're well rested for the next day.  By staying here, you can still opt to use the motorcoach transportation provided by Disney Cruise Line (written instructions will be provided when you check in at the hotel).  It costs $69 per person for a round trip motorcoach transfer (from the airport to port and back to airport).

If you're looking for something closer to the port, I suggest that you check out www.disboards.com  They have a very informative section on lodging options in Port Canaveral.  Keep in mind that you will be responsible for transportation to these resorts.

    Have a great time!
