    Where is the best place to stay near Magic Kingdom for a 6 year old girl and a 2 year old girl at Disneyworld?

    Hi Lisa,

     

    I have a couple of suggestions for you.  The Contemporary Resort is right on the Monorail and practically next door to the Magic Kingdom.  The atmosphere is fun, and there is always something to do!   There are several restaurants right in the resort including Chef Mickey's.  The Wilderness Lodge is just a short boat ride away.  This resort will feel like you are going to Yellowstone National Park.  The Lodge is grand and beautiful with a wonderful pool to play in.   This is one of my kids favorite resorts to stay at.  Plus you are right next to the Ft. Wilderness Campground with pony rides and Chip 'N Dale's Sing-a-long available most nights.  The Polynesian Resort has a Hawaiian feel to it and the grounds are just lovely.  The beach is fun to play in especially with all the sand so bring sand toys for your little ones.  Whatever resort you choose, Lisa, your children will have a magical vacation!
