what is the best place to stay and the best place to go with a 2 year old?

    Hi Janice,

With little ones I would highly recommend staying at a deluxe monorail resort.  The three resorts that are on the monorail are the Contemporary, the Grand Floridian, and the Polynesian Resort.  All three will allow you to travel to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot via the monorail.  You will be able to roll on stroller right on to it which makes traveling much easier.  At the other resorts you will be able to travel to those park, but will have to use a boat or a bus which require you to fold up your stroller.  If you choose to stay at the Contemporary you will be able to walk to the Magic Kingdom via a walking path.  The walk takes about 10-15 minutes.

If you are staying for a week, I would recommend planning on spending 3-4 days at the Magic Kingdom.   You both will enjoy the other theme parks, but the Magic Kingdom is sure to be the favorite.

WDW has a great web page that details all the best activities for pre-schoolers.  You can even print out park maps especially designed for little ones visiting WDW.  The site is titled Traveling with little ones.  I think you will find it very helpful.

    Enjoy your trip - Michelle
