Welcome!
I love hearing from fellow South Carolinians! And congratulations on registering for the 2015 Glass Slipper Challenge; it's truly a race fit for a princess.
Here are some of my top suggestions for helping your family see that magical moment when you come into view.
Enchanted 10K
While there is viewing at the start line and finish line, it is extremely limited. However, if you are staying at an Epcot® Area Resort, spectators may view from locations around Crescent Lake as runners pass by Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Resort. There are no spectator viewing spots along the portion of the course within Epcot® theme park.
Princess Half Marathon
The course for this 13.1 mile race will pass near Disney's Contemporary Resort & Disney's Grand Floridan Resort & Spa, but viewing from these resorts will require a little more effort as your family will need to head down to the road to watch you run by. My top suggestion would be to view you from Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom. Admission will not require a theme park ticket and entrance into the park will be allowed at 5:30am. In addition to the magical ambience, your children will have access to clean restrooms. Just make sure your family arrives early!
Another suggestion would be to consider a chEAR Squad Package. With a package of a Gold or higher, your family will have reserved grandstand seating, private restrooms, and beverages.
