Hi Annette, welcome to planDisney! Your question is putting a rumbly in my tumbly, as I love all the amazing dining that is available across Walt Disney World Resort. I think you're asking about which places are the best to
Mobile Order from, so I'll give you my suggestions for each park as well as recommendations for restaurants around the resort area.
Let's kick off our Mobile Order recommendation extravaganza with the theme parks! Here's where and what I would order for each location:
- At Magic Kingdom Park, I'm ordering the Trio Platter from Columbia Harbor House. I love seafood, and this entree has shrimp, chicken, fish, fries, and hushpuppies! It's the best of both worlds (land + sea) and is large enough to share.
- EPCOT is home to the World Showcase, and that's where I'd head to get the golden brown and deliciously deep fried Beer-battered Fish and Chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK Pavilion!
- Spending the day at Disney's Hollywood Studios? It's lights! Camera! Lunch! at Backlot Express. Check out the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl or the Cuban Sandwich.
- Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is one of my go-to locations, and I enjoy everything on the menu there. I recommend the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese or the Ribs, Chicken, and Pulled Pork Sampler.
Now, let's take a look at mobile ordering outside of the parks. Here are a few favorites of mine:
- If you find yourself near Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Captain Cook's is a must visit. Get the Thai Coconut Meatballs and thank me later!
- The Mara at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has a delicious Harissa-spiced Beef Bowl, but the real reason to mobile order here is to get the iconic Zebra Domes dessert.
Ok, Annette, I hope that helps you plan out some potential mobile orders for your upcoming trip! To see more options, check out the dining page on the Disney World website and filter for
Mobile Order locations. If you are looking for other dining recommendations,
come back and ask me here at planDisney! I'd be happy to answer more foodie questions for you.
Stay magical,
Scott
