Best place to park if we want to do both parks in one day?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Matt!

I’m excited for you to be able to experience the Disneyland Resort. I’m sure it will be an especially memorable experience for you.

I sort of wish I could be there when you first arrive at the theme park entrances so I could see your face. That is because I think you might be surprised at just how close the main entrances to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are to each other. They are literally only a football field length apart from each other. With the theme park entrances so close to each other, all of the Disneyland Resort Guest parking options are conveniently located to both theme parks.

If you are staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you will park at a location adjacent to the respective hotel resort. All three Disneyland Resort Hotels are within a very short walking distance to the theme park entrances.

For Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotel or other location, Guest parking is available at one of three locations: Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, Pixar Pals Parking Structure, or Toy Story Parking Area. Personally, my preferred parking location is the Toy Story Parking Area. But the two parking structures are truly amazing engineering marvels. So they are wonderful options too. Many Good Neighbor Hotels are located immediately adjacent to the Disneyland Resort. If you are staying at one of these locations, you just might find that it is best to walk from your hotel to the theme parks. Guests staying at many of these locations find that walking to the theme parks saves both money and time. My family and I usually choose our hotel based on proximity to the theme parks to minimize our walking.

Tony’s Tip: At this time during the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, the trams for the parking structures have not yet restarted. Guests parking at those locations will be able to walk along the half-mile tram path to the theme park entrances. If you need transportation from your parking to the theme park entrances, choose the Toy Story Parking Area, where bus transportation is currently available.

Adventure is out there,” Matt! You’ll be able to marvel at Super Heroes, enjoy a drink in a galaxy far, far away, or sing along with swashbuckling pirates.

    Have a magical time!
