Where is the best place to park for Epcot on 4/29/2024 and is there a tram to the entrance?

    Hiya, Virginia!

Thanks so much for swinging by with an excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! Oh boy... it looks like you'll be making the trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth tomorrow. I'd be happy to help you plan for a swell time at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks!

Virginia, you're visiting during an extra special time of year: the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. This is my favorite festival that takes place annually at EPCOT (but don't tell the others...), bringing beautiful blooms and tremendous topiaries to the World Showcase! It sounds like you're hoping to drive and park a personal vehicle at the theme park tomorrow, and that won't be an issue at all. When you arrive at the entrance EPCOT, you'll stop at the parking booth to pay for either standard or preferred parking. (Preferred lots are closer to the theme park entrances, shortening your walk to the park entrance.) Your parking pass is valid for all four theme parks, so if you're planning to park hop tomorrow, be sure to hang onto your receipt to validate your parking at the other parks you visit after EPCOT! Keep in mind that, if you're staying at an eligible Disney Resort hotel, standard theme park parking is complimentary, so you'll just need to tap your MagicBand or Key to the World Card at the parking booth when you arrive.

I'm happy to inform you that, pending weather conditions and availability, you'll be able to hop on a courtesy tram in the EPCOT parking lot for a quick trip to the park's Main Entrance! My family often refers to this mode of transportation as our "first attraction" of the day, and the friendly Cast Members operating the trams are always so personable and entertaining. Unless you choose to park in the preferred parking lot at EPCOT, the courtesy tram could save you quite a few footsteps. Parking lot attendants will guide you into a parking space when you arrive, so once you've safely parked, simply proceed to the tram route and wait for the next one to arrive!

Virginia, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you a day filled with enchantment at EPCOT. If you have any additional questions during your visit, you're always welcome to revisit us here at planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
