    Hi, what is the best place outside of the magic kingdom to view the fireworks. We are staying at an on-property hotel.

    Hi David,

    My family love to watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom Theme Park from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort. This is such a relaxing way to enjoy the fireworks and as the soundtrack is piped via speakers on the beach, you will have a truly fantastic view of the fireworks display from across the Seven Seas Lagoon.

    Depending on what time Wishes is scheduled to take place, you may also be able to see the Electrical Water Pageant which takes place each day and should be passing the Polynesian Resort at approximately 9pm. The pageant consists of several barges each carrying a screen of lights accompanied to a selection of Disney music. It is what I would call a hidden gem and is very cute.

    Another great place to view the fireworks is from the California Grill which is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The restaurant is situated on the 15th floor of the building and has a fantastic view of the Magic Kingdom. It also comes complete with an outside viewing area from where you are able to watch Wishes. The Wishes soundtrack is once again piped in to both the restaurant and outside viewing area and makes this a lovely alternative to watching the fireworks in the park. If this is something which you would like to do, I would recommend making an advance dining reservation at your earliest possible opportunity and ensure that your dining time will coincide with the display.
