Where is the best place to order a cake and balloon to be delivered to our room for my son's 5th birthday??? Staying at CRB :-) thanks for all your help, love the panel (even if i am a wee bit addicted.... :-)

    Hi there Mindy!
Thanks for your kind words (and there's nothing wrong with being addicted to the Mom's Panel!).  We really do love talking about Disney!

Your son is very lucky - a birthday is a magical thing to celebrate at Disney.  To order your cake, there is a 'cake hotline' - call (407) 827-2253 at least 48 hours in advance.  There are also other ways to customize your special celebration - check out this link to find out more.

The creative cast members at Disney Floral and Gifts have some great ideas for in-room birthday celebrations too, including balloons, gifts and room decorating.

Some of the real Disney magic won't cost you a thing:  make sure that it is noted (in advance) on your reservation that your son is celebrating his birthday....and see what happens!  In addition, when you go into the theme park on your son's birthday, stop in at guest services (at the Magic Kingdom that is at City Hall just inside the main gates).  Tell them it is his birthday and he will receive a "Happy Birthday" button to wear for the day.  He will giggle with delight when cast members come up to him and wish him happy birthday!

Mindy, let me know if you have any more questions.  Have a magical family time together!

Meet the Panelist: Lynn, Ontario

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
