Where is the best place for a handicapped person to be dropped off at Disneyland?

    Hello there, Rebekah,

“I wonder which way I ought to go.”
    —Alice, Alice in Wonderland

"Some go this way. Some go that way. But as for me, myself, personally, I prefer the short cut."
    —Cheshire Cat, Alice in Wonderland

To follow the Cheshire Cat and find the right “short cut” depends on your desired destination. There are many ways to get to the Disneyland Resort. Guests arriving by car, including by rideshare services, may be dropped off at a few available passenger pick-up/drop-off areas.

Registered Guests of one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels or Guests with a confirmed dining reservation at one of the hotels may ask to be dropped off at the hotel’s main entrance and porte cochère. (Note that while the lobby of Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is under construction, Guests may be directed to the back entrance to the hotel.) To get to the best location for drop-off at the Downtown Disney District, turn west onto Magic Way from Disneyland Drive, then turn left onto Downtown Drive and follow the signs.

Finally, the closest drop-off location to the theme parks is on Harbor Boulevard. To access the Harbor Boulevard drop-off, you must be in the right-most lane traveling southbound from South Manchester Avenue. Be sure to drive past the shuttle area at the corner where there is a large Disneyland Resort archway over the pedestrian path. Then, you will drive past the drop-off area exit and enter the drop-off area before you reach the intersection with Disney Way.

Tony’s Tip: Check the Disneyland Resort parking information page for an interactive map of the available Guest pickup and drop-off areas. You can also find these on the map in the Disneyland mobile app by selecting the Guest Services view.

Safe travels to the Disneyland Resort, Rebekah!
