Welcome back to planDisney, Alexis. It is great to see how much trust you are putting in my fellow panelists and me with your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning. We truly love sharing our experiences with other Guests so you can enjoy the same magic we do when visiting The Most Magical Place On Earth!
First, let me be the first to wish you a heartfelt congratulations on your anniversary! This question has my mind racing with possibilities, so let me suggest a couple of
Enchanting Extras, dining locations, and some more relaxed but equally impressive options.
Whether traveling solo or with your children, booking a
specialty cruise around Seven Seas Lagoon during the
Happily Ever After fireworks show is a fantastic and romantic way to spend time with your significant other. If being on the water isn’t for you, multiple
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties are also available. Want to skip the crowds?
Celebration at the Top – Sip, Savor, Sparkle, located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, may be the perfect fit! You could grab a cocktail from each resort on the monorail and enjoy the fireworks show and music from the beach of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (highly recommend)!
For dinner, I recommend Victoria & Albert’s or Narcoosee’s, located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You should grab a cocktail before/after your meal at the
Enchanted Rose; the dimly lit library portion of the lounge is ideal for you and your spouse to enjoy each other's company. The
California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is another option, as you can enjoy the fireworks show from the private balcony. Le Cellier in the Canada Pavilion and Monsieur Paul in the France Pavilion of EPCOT are also great options! An honorable mention would be
Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you request an earlier booking, around 5:00 PM, you can request a window table to enjoy dinner while overlooking the animals roaming the savannah. Maybe not as romantic as the others, but a culinary experience you’ll never forget. Especially the Indian-style Bread Service!
My high school sweetheart and I recently celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary. While we weren’t in Disney at the time, on our last trip, we went back to our earlier date nights when we visited
Disney’s BoardWalk. We grabbed a slice from the Pizza Window, played boardwalk games, and went to the piano bar,
Jellyrolls. It was a blast!
Hopefully, this kickstarts your anniversary planning, Alexis. If, after looking at my suggestions, you would like me to provide more ideas or dig a little deeper into something, please
ask me a question. I would love to make your evening feel straight out of a Disney movie!
Cheers to many more years,
Brent
