Hello Heidi,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort will be an unforgettable experience, and there are lots of fantastic Thanksgiving dinner dining options at the Parks and Resorts!
One of my favorites is
Liberty Tree Tavern in
Magic Kingdom Park. The Restaurant resembles an 18th-century Patriot's home, so it's the ideal atmosphere for a Thanksgiving feast. The menu offers all-you-can-eat platters of turkey, brisket, pork, mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies, and macaroni and cheese served family style. For dessert I suggest the Ooey Gooey Toffee cake with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream; it's the perfect ending to your holiday meal. Liberty Tree Tavern is currently closed for maintenance but is scheduled to reopen on November 20, 2015...just in time for Thanksgiving! You will need to call Disney Dining at (407) 939-1947 to see when (or if) you'll be able to book an Advance Dining Reservation. Be Our Guest Restaurant and Tony's Town Square Restaurant have also offered Thanksgiving meal options in the past.
Outside of Magic Kingdom Park you can find Thanksgiving fare at California Grill and The Wave in Disney's Contemporary Resort and at Grand Floridian Cafe, Narcoossee's and Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Although they are a bit of a distance away from Magic Kingdom Park, I would also recommend Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club Resort or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. Both Restaurants will have special Thanksgiving Day menu offerings in addition to some of their regular menu items.
I hope this information helps. Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions!
Magical Wishes,
Susan
