where is the best place to be during the parade at the Castle

I have enjoyed watching the parades in Frontierland over the last few years. Recently I found a great spot that is not crowded and just as close to the action as anywhere else.  The small side street in Liberty Square is my parade watching choice now. I like to sit outside the Christmas store or across the street by the Hall of President's store.  One year we were quite cold waiting for the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party parade and I stepped inside the Christmas store and purchased a very soft blanket to sit on. My grandson to this day has to have that blanket to go to bed at night!

If you are going to want to scoot out of the park quickly after the parade then I suggest you head to the end of Main Street early and secure a spot under the train station.  This way you can depart and hit the boats, buses, or monorail before the crowds descend upon you!
