Where is the best place to be dropped off and picked up at Disney Studios

Hello there, Martin. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I see that you'll be spending New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World. What a fun way to end the year!

Martin, there is only one designated location to be dropped off and picked up at Disney's Hollywood Studios by car. When you get to the parking lot for Disney's Hollywood Studios you'll pull up to the parking attendant booths. You'll explain to the Cast Member working that you'll just be dropping someone off - because of this you will not be required to pay for parking since the vehicle won't be staying. The Cast Member will direct you to follow the signs for the Guest drop-off and pick-up area. Once you've pulled into the drop-off/pick-up area your Guest will be able to get out of the car and head to the entrance of Disney's Hollywood Studios. The person driving the car will then follow signs toward the exit. Once you are ready to pick up your Guest or be picked up yourself, you or your driver follow the same pattern. You'll pull up to the parking attendant booth, explain that you are picking up and then follow the signs for the pick-up area. The pick-up area is in the same location as earlier. Then, you'll collect your Guest and follow those same signs to exit once again. It's very well marked and a nice area close to the entrance of the theme park. I've used it many times.

I hope this helps explain the process a little bit better, Martin. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
