What is the best place to dine to celebrate a girls 10th birthday?

Hi Audra! There are many super spots for all little princesses to celebrate their special birthday while at Walt Disney World. Having a meal at Cinderella Castle is certainly a highlight for many but it is also a very tough reservation to get so be ready at your 180 day reservation window to book it.

Other good thoughts are the new Be Our Guest restaurant in the new Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom but again this is a tough reservation for dinner. My favorite princess dining is at Akershus in the Norway Pavilion of Epcot where you have the chance to meet many of the famous Disney faces.  Another spot that is a hit is the Grand Floridians 1900 Park Faire.

If your daughter is not a princess fan then a place we have always found as fun for special celebrations is the 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios. They will usually ask the birthday guests to do something special and they make sure they get attention during the meal.

Wherever you dine make sure you arrange for a small cake or a custom cake to be delivered to the table for your daughter. The kids love to know that no matter where they are their birthdays are very special events.  You can also contact the Disney florist,, to arrange for special deliveries to the room while you are in the parks during the day. There is nothing like the look on the faces of the children when they open their room door to find that something magical has happened for them while they were gone!
