What is the best place to do character dining? We want to do 2 and we know we are going to Chef Mickey's. any suggestions of where else to go? The 4 y.o. Twins won't care about the food they are interested in the characters😁

    Hi Liz,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am always happy to greet a fellow North Carolinian and mother of twins!

Chef Mickey's is a fantastic choice and is always at the top of our list. Our girls also love The Crystal Palace for breakfast. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are two of their favorite characters they have to see. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, we have also dined at Tusker House with Safari Donald and Daisy Duck. On our last visit we did the Rivers of Light Dining Package at Tusker House. Our dinner reservation was at about 5:30 p.m. We did our initial three Fast Pass+ reservations before dinner, then made a fourth Fast Pass+ while we were waiting to be seated at dinner. After dinner, we went to do that fourth Fast Pass+ then went back to see the Rivers of Light show.

Liz, if your twins are Disney Junior fans, I suggest Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Perhaps the more important question is, are they princess fans? We adore Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare. When we do a princess meal, our girls always dress in their royal attire. Consider doing a pre-park opening breakfast reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. When you finish, you can go through the stand-by line to take a tour of lovely Arendelle on Frozen Ever After and then, visit with Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus. If you can make a dining reservation at 8:00 a.m. and finish by 9:00 a.m., the stand-by line for Frozen Ever After should not be too long!

Of course, do not forget to take their autograph books! We just pick these up when we arrive at our resort hotel. Also buy two larger pens - they are easier for the characters to grip and you always want a spare pen in case one stops working!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
