Where is the best place for a character dining birthday experience for adults? We will be celebrating 2 birthday in Nov when we are there. Also, can you order a birthday cake and what is the cost and what do they cakes look like?

Cinderella's Royal Table Fairytale lunch offers a delightful dining experience for adults.  I had the opportunity to dine there in December with all of my Moms Panel friends and we had a fabulous time.  The experience takes place inside Cinderella castle.  When we visited we were greeted downstairs by Cinderella herself.  We posed for photos and were given souvenir wands.  Once we made our way to the dining room upstairs we were delighted with the regal atmosphere.  Although the menu featured limited offerings, we did enjoy the food.  I especially liked the sorbet for dessert!  The princesses came around to our tables and happily posed for photographs in spite of the fact that there wasn't a child to be found in the entire group.  Overall, it was a peaceful and tasty dining experience.  Another bonus is that souvenir photos are included with the price of the meal.  If you are interested be sure to call 407-WDW-DINE up to 180 days out.  This is a popular meal so you'll want to secure your seating as soon as possible.

As for cakes, you can order a custom specialty cake and have it delivered to the restaurant where you intend to dine.  I've seen pictures of some of the creations Disney bakers have dreamed up and let me assure you that they are impressive.  I can't really tell you what they look like because they are custom and can be tailored to your wishes.  I've seen simple round layer cakes decorated with characters and much more elaborate cakes including one that looked like a sandcastle complete with edible shells.  Prices vary according to the specifics you request, but currently, I believe prices start at around $25.00.  Cakes must be ordered at least 48 hours in advance by calling the cake hotline at 407-827-2253.

Hopefully this helps.  Please pass along my Happy Birthday wishes and have a magical time!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
