Where is the best place to have breakfast in Disneyland for the magic mornings. Preferably somewhere with pancakes and waffles? Do you need to make reservations ahead of time if so how much notice?

    Dear Kate,
I have to say breakfast inside the Disneyland Park is one of my favorite things to do!
I'm not sure if it's the early morning view of Sleeping Beauty's Castle or the peaceful quiet environment of Main Street U.S.A., there's just something so charming about breakfast at Disneyland!
Your two choices there would be the Plaza Inn for breakfast with Minnie and Friends (this one's a character dining experience) or the Carnation Cafe.
They both offer delicious breakfast choices. The Plaza Inn has more of a breakfast buffet set-up, although if you want something done in a a particular way, like your favorite type of breakfast omelet, you can order it. The last few times I've had breakfast there, they certainly had the miniature Mickey Waffles and guests were able to serve them with syrup or fruit compote.
Now, the Carnation Cafe offers it's signature Mickey Waffle. It's a large waffle that can be served with either fresh fruit or a special apple topping that is really good!
    Either restaurant requires advance reservations.
Given the popularity of each, I always recommend guests book their table as soon as the reservation window opens for their trip, which is 60 days in advance.
    I hope this helps!
Have a Magical time at the Disneyland Resort!
Remember, you've got a friend in me...
