Hi Gaudy!
Welcome to planDisney! As a mom of twin girls, I am happy to respond to your question!
We took our girls on their first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort when they were 5-years old and it was AMAZING! They just lived the magic and loved the entire experience from the plane ride to the parks. After that first trip, I can say that they adored all kinds of experiences, not just the
princess interactions. I was struck by their wonder at the
Star Wars stories, especially since they had not seen the movies!
So, this is a tough question! Having said that, I have to start with Magic Kingdom. Our girls still adore Magic Kingdom. That walk down Main Street, U.S.A., watching their faces light up is still quite real. The rides and
attractions for little ones are phenomenal. And there is nothing quite like dining at
Cinderella's Royal Table. Our girls were just in awe the first time they dined here when they were 7-years old and we now have a tradition of dining there on every visit.
When our girls were the same age as yours, they also adored EPCOT. We spent hours there without even exploring World Showcase entirely. Between Soarin' Around the World, Frozen Ever After, Mission: SPACE, and Test Track, we had plenty to do. Just check the
height requirements for attractions to be sure your little ones can experience them. Our girls also enjoyed dining at
Coral Reef Restaurant and sat in awe of the giant aquarium while we dined!
With the addition of Toy Story Land, Disney's Hollywood Studios became a popular park for us. The attractions here are so much fun! And, once our girls did Jedi Training Academy years ago, they were determined to join the Resistance to save the galaxy. Although Jedi Training is not currently offered, our girls have recently enjoyed building lightsabers at Savi's Workshop and droids at Droid Depot in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
Last, but certainly not least important, Disney's Animal Kingdom is phenomenal. The animals and the conservation efforts are incredible to witness. They loved the
Wilderness Explorers activities and I would also highly recommend a visit to
Conservation Station. Your girls might love
The Animation Experience at Conservation Station.
Gaudy, the good news is that I think your girls would adore either of the parks. Our girls were just thrilled at everything on their first visits. As soon as you choose, be sure to link your theme park tickets in
My Disney Experience and make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. Check the
operational updates prior to your visit since experience availability could change. Sending you a little pixie dust as you make this important decision!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
