Hi Laura,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My favorite parks for little ones are Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom has a number of attractions that your children can enjoy including Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Astro Orbiter, "it's a small world," Peter Pan's Flight and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Your 3-year old might also love Swiss Family Treehouse and Tom Sawyer Island. At Tom Sawyer Island, we got a little spooked in Injun Joe's Cave on our last visit, so beware of that one.
At Disney's Animal Kingdom, the animals are spectacular! When our girls were younger, our must-do attractions were Kilimanjaro Safaris, The Festival of the Lion King show and TriceraTop Spin. Also take a few minutes to visit The Boneyard - a super cute play area. Review the
Attractions & Rides List and
Character & Entertainment guides to get more information. I will never forget the girls' first visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom. They saw Mickey Mouse for the first time in person and were just stunned.
Laura, if you have not done so already, create a
My Disney Experience Account and link your theme park tickets to that account. Once you do so, you can make up to three initial Fast Pass+ selections at each park for each day that you have valid theme park admission. Once we are in the parks, we use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to add Fast Pass+ selections, modify dining reservations and check wait times for rides. The mobile app also allows you to mobile order for some restaurants!
Happy planning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
