Hi, there!
Melanie, I'm just thrilled to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in a few weeks. And with a
little one in tow! You're sure to make lots of magical memories.
One of my favorite things about the Walt Disney World Resort is that
all four theme parks are perfect for Guests of ALL ages! If I had to choose just one that was best for a 1-year old, though, I'd most certainly pick
Magic Kingdom Park. This theme park in particular has lots of
family-friendly attractions that are perfect for your little one. When my kids were babies, they most loved attractions with gentle, easy tracks like Peter Pan's Flight and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. They also loved boat-ride attractions like "it's a small world." I always held my babies on my lap or sat them next to me and put my arm around them. My heart just melted as I watched their sweet little faces light up with joy!
A stroller will be an absolute must-have for your visit.
Strollers are available to rent from all four theme parks, but you are welcome to bring your own. If you bring a stroller, just be sure that it meets the
stroller size guidelines.
Did you know there's a
Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks? The Baby Care Center is the perfect place to take your little one for a quiet feeding or diaper change. Each Baby Care Center features a changing room, private nursing room, living room area, kitchenette, and on-site shop with baby essentials available for purchase. We once ran out of diapers while we were at Magic Kingdom Park, and boy were we glad we could buy more at the Baby Care Center!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Melanie. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
