What is the best way to get from Orlando airport to fort wilderness campground resort? Also, I see you have to reserve your day for the parks. Not really knowing what day and what park we want to visit… how late can you do this reservation ?

Hi Lori, and Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for sending me your question. I'm always happy to help a fellow Colorado mom!

There are several transportation options to get from Orlando International Airport to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. MEARS Connect Shuttle is a shuttle service you can make reservations for that provides round-trip transportation. Their number is (407) 422-2222. Another transportation option is Lyft, which is the official rideshare partner of the Walt Disney World Resort. You could also book a private car service or rent a car to drive.

You are correct about needing theme park reservations. While I know it can be hard to choose your theme park days in advance, it is important that you do this sooner rather than later because theme park reservation availability can be limited and is not guaranteed. Because your arrival date is bookended by Valentine's Day and Presidents Day weekend, it will likely be busier in the theme parks. You could wait another month or two to purchase theme park tickets and make the theme park reservations, but I wouldn't wait too much longer than that.
