What is the best way to order groceries to the Grand Californian?

    Welcome BACK, Emily!

Thank you so much for reaching back out to us hEAR at planDisney to assist with planning your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!

This is a fantastic question. I'm somewhat new to ordering groceries to be delivered to my Disney Resort Hotels, but I'm happy to say that Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa accepts these deliveries however you'd like to get your groceries. You can order from Amazon Prime, a subscription service that you use at home like Shipt, or even use a local personal shopper you found online. You can coordinate to meet your shopper in the lobby at the time of the delivery or your items can be dropped off at Bell Services. The Bell Services team will even be able to keep your cold stuff cold for you until your arrival. Once you're ready to gather your groceries, you can either head to the luggage holding area just outside the main entrance, or you can call for them to be delivered to your room. Here are a few Pro Tips to help this go smoothly:

~ Standard Guestrooms have a standard-size mini-fridge that can hold a surprising amount. Up to three half gallons of milk (but also three bottles of wine) can fit side-by-side on a shelf with plenty of room for other small to medium-sized things. These rooms do not include a microwave.

~ Disney Vacation Club Villas have full kitchens, including standard full-size refrigerators with freezer compartments.

~ The room comes with a Keurig, coffee pods, and sweetener, but plan to order creamer if you like a heavy pour.

~ If ordering a mix of cold and dry items, request in the notes section of your purchase to please keep cold stuff together as this will take up less space in the fridges for Bell Services.

If you run out of anything, you can always place another order for delivery. Or if you're needing just a few more food, beverage, snack, or sundry items, the 'Acorns Goods and Gifts' shop in the lobby of The Grand is very well stocked. The GCH Craftsman Grill just past the pool also has some great save-for-later food options. And you're more than welcome to check out what the other Disneyland Resort Hotels have, including the brand new 24/7 grab-and-go convenience market at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel.

I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney Days, Emily! Check out the official planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
