What is the best way to order food for a 2 year old when using the Disney Dining Plan?

    Hi Kelly!

I'm happy to help you prepare for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. You will love vacationing with one of the Disney dining plans because it's so nice to enjoy whatever you would like on the menu without having to worry about the cost of each meal since the majority of your dining expenses are already paid!

When you add a dining plan to your vacation package, each Guest on your Disney Resort hotel reservation who is 3 years old and above will receive one set of dining entitlements per night of your reservation. That means that your 2-year-old little one will not receive dining entitlements to use during your trip.

You have a few options for feeding your little one during your vacation. If you will be enjoying buffets or family-style meals, your little one's meal will be complimentary, so you can make a plate for your little one with items that he or she would enjoy. For quick service and table service meals, you can either share with your little one from your plate or order a separate meal for your little and pay cash for it. When my youngest was little, I would often share from my plate or my husband's plate and order a separate side dish or fruit to complete his meal.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app as it's the easiest way to track your dining entitlements throughout your vacation! Let us know if we can help you again as your vacation approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
