What are the best options with eating within the park on a budget with a 7 and 10 yr old. Is the healthy choices.

    Hi Jill,

My youngest two are 9 and 11. You'll find that the kids meal choices are quite reasonably priced. Disney offers healthy sides as a rule and if you would prefer fries you have to request them. Generally speaking, kids meals now come with your choice of grapes and carrot sticks. Another option is to order an adult meal and have your children split it. The portions are quite large on adult meals and depending on how much food your children eat, this may be a great option for you.

You will also find that some quick service restaurants like "Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe" in the Magic Kingdom have salads and turkey sandwiches available. Another great option in the Magic Kingdom is the Columbia Harbour House. They have fish and other healthy options as opposed to burgers and fries.

In the Animal Kingdom, for quick service, my family enjoys Restaurantosaurus. They have big chicken caesar salads available. On our last trip, all 6 of us had these salads for lunch and they were deliciously healthy alternatives and reasonably priced.

In Epcot, head to Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion. You'll find a large variety of gourmet sandwiches, soups and salads available.

At Hollywood Studios, I find the healthy options a bit more limited. However, you can find salads at most of the quick service restaurant locations.

If you are at Downtown Disney, you won't want to miss out on Earl of Sandwich. They are so reasonably priced and the sandwiches are delicious! We always go there several times on each Disney trip.

I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
