What it's the best option if i want to go out from Disney World to Tampa Bay just for a saturday night to see a NHL hockey game ?

    Hi Benoit,

Thanks for writing.  I recently moved from New Jersey to Tampa and travel between Disney and Tampa a lot!  The drive is about one hour, give or take a few minutes.  I would recommend renting a car for the day from one of the on-site car rental locations on Disney property.  The major car rental chains Alamo and National both have rental offices on Disney property, at the Car Care Center (which is near the Magic Kingdom and is easily accessible via a free shuttle from your Disney resort) and at the Dolphin hotel (which is near Epcot and Hollywood Studios). To arrange for your car, you'll need to contact the rental companies directly.

The National rental website is nationalcar.com
The Alamo rental website is alamo.com

You could also hire a car service, but the costs associated with doing so would likely be as much or more than a rental for a day, and you would have to provide a pick up time, which I'm guessing might be ambiguous depending upon when your game ends.

    Have a great trip.
