What's the best option to get dinning reservations for a party of 11?

Welcome to planDisney, Luis! Thanks for sharing your question with us!

There’s something for everybody at Walt Disney World. Some people love to visit for the rides. Some people especially enjoy the shows. Some guests prioritize the water parks and resort hotel pools, while some are here for the fireworks. And then there are those who are here for the dining and food options! I love everything Walt Disney World has to offer, but dining is definitely an important part of our family vacations. I’m happy to provide some tips for getting a reservation for your big group.

The best way to get a dining reservation for a party of 11 is to start by picking the right restaurant. Some dining locations are bigger and better suited for big groups, and you’ll be more likely to find a reservation for your whole party if you prioritize larger restaurants like these.

    - Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge Resort
    - Biergarten at EPCOT
    - ‘Ohana at Polynesian Village Resort
    - Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge
    - Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness

While not all Walt Disney World restaurants are set up to host large groups, it’s not impossible to make a reservation if you have a particular spot in mind. You can try making two reservations (one for a party of 5 and one for a party of 6) for the same time. Then stop by the host stand about an hour before your reservation and tell the Cast Member that the two parties are together and you’d like to be seated near each other. It’s not always possible, but Cast Members always do their best to accommodate requests.

And remember, not only can you make dining reservations on the Walt Disney World website, but you can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app

Luis, I hope this info is useful and that you don’t have any issues making reservations for your group. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more questions or need recommendations. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
