What are the best onsite properties for a family of 7-(2 children, parents, grandparents and aunt) Prefer 3 private sleeping spaces + addition space for 2 children or 2 separate room with 2 private spaces each Will any pools be open in Jan. Thanks

    Hey Laura!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!

The Walt Disney World Resort has plenty of options when it comes to resort hotels. You'll find everything from standard size rooms that sleep four people to deluxe villas that offer all of the comforts of home with room for larger parties. I have a few suggestions that may work for you and your family. First, you could always book three separate standard rooms. This way, the adults would each have their own space and bathroom. You can also request adjoining rooms so that you are sure to be near each other. Second, you might want to look at the Family Suites which offer two separate sleeping areas. You'll find these at Disney's All-Star Music Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Lastly, the two bedroom deluxe villas come complete with a full-size kitchen, washer and dryer, whirlpool tub and room for up to nine guests. With two bedrooms and a living room with a pull-out sofa bed, you would have the three separate sleeping areas that you need. And yes, the pools will be open in January and hopefully it will be nice enough for y'all to swim.

I hope one of these options works for your family's needs and budget. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to stop back by and ask us. Happy planning!
