What is the best months to go to Disney world?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Catherine! It’s so good to hear from you!

Everyone has their own preference when it comes to what they think are the best months to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. But I’ll let you in on a little secret, Catherine... I have journeyed to the Cave of Wonders, and I learned the secret to the perfect vacation times at Walt Disney World! I’ll share that information with you now!

September, in my personal opinion, is one of the greatest times to visit! With school getting back in session, for the majority of the country, all of September has low crowds! Another great reason to visit during September is the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which is my favorite festival! The weather is great, the crowds are low, and the magic is running on an all-time high! September is month number one in my eyes!

The beginning of May is always a great time to visit as well! Spring is a lovely look on the Walt Disney World Resort. With the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival in full swing, May is charming! Crowds will be lower at the beginning of the month, and the weather is fresh and delightful!

The beginning of December is another recommendation I give often! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the crowning jewel at Magic Kingdom park during December. With treats and shows and goodness to go around, December is an enchanting time to visit! Crowds are lower at the beginning of the month, just like the month of May!

There isn’t a “bad month” to go to the Walt Disney World Resort! The three listed above are just my personal favorites after years and years of experience! But, really, the best time to attend Walt Disney World is when you are available to attend the Walt Disney World! Magic will be waiting for you regardless, Catherine!

If you have any additional questions, we would love to hear from you again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
