What is the best month to visit DisneyWorld? It will be our first time. My daughter wanted to meet the princesses. Any suggestions for hotels, tickets, etc. that are affordable?

    Hi Ruth,
To my mind, there is never a bad time to visit Walt Disney World!  But if I understand you correctly, let me address the idea of the most affordable time to go.

Approximately early January to mid-February and mid-August to the end of September are the 'value' times to stay at the Disney resorts.  Earlier in the year the weather can be cooler or rainy, but if you dress appropriately you will enjoy the parks when the numbers of people are lower. Mid-August to September can be quite hot...so consider which weather will be best for you.

Our family has always stayed at - and enjoyed - the 'Value' resorts - the Pop Century, and the All Star Music, Movies and Sports.  There are no bad choices here!  As for park tickets, you can customize your park ticket so you only pay for what you want.  Call 407-W-DISNEY for full details on prices for both resorts and park passes.  I hope this helps.  Enjoy!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
