What is the best month to visit?

    Hi there, Lura!

Truly, there is never a "wrong" time to visit Walt Disney World! But if you are looking for the lowest attendance numbers, there are a couple of months I'd suggest. Bear in mind, though, that these are all non-vacation months for school-aged children.

    1. From late August through the start of the International Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. While the weather is still warm (okay, hot), you will find a substantial decrease in attendance numbers at all four Parks. Many children are either in school or are headed back to school, and family vacation time is typically just about done for the summer high season.

    2. From mid-January (just after marathon weekend) through just before Presidents' Day weekend in February. Weather is picture-perfect. Florida winters can be chilly, but for the most part, you'll have brisk mornings, mild afternoons, and chilly nights. Crowd levels during this time are very low, with Presidents' Day weekend marking the unofficial beginning of Spring Break season.

Park hours can be shorter during these times of the year, but you should find nighttime events to be, for the most part, in full swing.

October through December are also beautiful times to come, and there is nowhere like Disney for the holidays. However, while the decor is beautiful and the holiday spirit just fills the air, from the middle of November through New Year's Day, the crowds climb steadily and peak during that final week of the year.

When you've decided - or you need some further information to assist you in making that decision - do feel free to drop me a line.

    Happy planning!

    -See you later, celebrator,
