    What is the best moderately priced disney resort on magic kingdom property

    Hi Lori,

    Thanks for writing!  There are actually no resorts that are located inside Magic Kingdom.  The closest resort to this theme park is the Contemporary, which is within walking distance of the park.  It is a deluxe resort.  The Cabins at Fort Wilderness are the closest moderate category accommodation to Magic Kingdom.  These spacious cabins have separate bedroom and living rooms as well as fully-equipped kitchens.  Transportation to the Magic Kingdom is via boat ride.  All of the other moderate resorts are a bus ride away from the park, using Disney's reliable and convenient transportation system.  I have two young children, and we spend a great deal of time at the Magic Kingdom each trip.  We have stayed at all of the moderate resorts, and find getting to the park to be quick and convenient using Disney's buses.  I find it  helpful to request a room located near a bus stop to minimize our walking and maximize our park time!
