what is the best moderate resort?

    Hi there Lisa,

This is a tough question, because if you asked 5 of us Moms, you'd probably get 5 different answers and 50 different "reasons why!"  While I love several of the moderate resorts, I think my absolute favorite would have to be Port Orleans Riverside!

This resort is situated along the picturesque Sassagoula River an portrays an Antebellum Louisiana with shady Oaks, horse drawn carriages, and beautiful bayou-esque touches!  I love the fact that you can sit out in a courtyard at Port Orleans, and actually forget that you're in Orlando.  The atmosphere is laid back, peaceful, and serene!

The rooms at Port Orleans were recently refurb'd to include Queen Beds with richly colored fabrics and gold accents.  My husband says the beds are among the most comfortable he's ever slept in!  The all-new Royal Guest Rooms are available as well, and offer guests a truly unique and magical experience with fibre optic headboards and special surprises from non other than the Princess of the Bayou herself, Tiana, from Princess and the Frog!

This resort truly has it all:  Nice accommodations, great dining options, and a fabulous pool and recreation area...ON IT'S OWN ISLAND!  Port Orleans reminds me of a boutique hotel because of the extra little touches!  You'll love it and you'll soon see why it has become my favorite Moderate Resort!
