Big families are the best, right Karen? Experiencing Walt Disney World with a bunch of people you love is a great way to multiply the magic!
The trouble, of course, is that most of the standard hotel rooms within the Disney Resorts Collection sleep between four and five people. It can be tricky to accommodate ten on a budget. Not to worry, though; it can be done. I’m happy to make some suggestions.
Depending upon the ages/sizes of any children in the group, you may be able to book two standard (5th sleeper) rooms at
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and then request connecting rooms. It’s important to note two things. The first is that the bed accommodations for the 5th sleeper in each room are intended for a small child. The second thing to note is that requests for connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed, but every attempt to satisfy the request will be made.
Your party might also enjoy a couple of the
Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Each of these rustic little homes can accommodate six people.
If it’s important that your entire group stay under one roof, you’ll need to look into one of the
Deluxe Villa Resorts. While these accommodations are on the high end, as far as nightly rates, they offer the conveniences of home and are the only hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection that can accommodate a party of ten under one roof.
I hope that helps, Karen!
