Hey there, Beth!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Even though most five- and seven-year-olds do not use strollers at home, it's very nice to have a double stroller in the theme parks when tired little legs need a rest! So with that said, I have a suggestion for you. My advice is to leave your stroller at home because you can so easily
rent a stroller at any of the theme parks or at Disney Springs. We have rented strollers many times, and I can tell you that the Stroller Rental process is easy and convenient. You can rent your stroller on a day-by-day basis or you can choose to do a "Length of Stay" rental. With the Length of Stay option, you pre-pay the number of days that you will require the stroller and you'll receive a discount. Then, upon visiting a theme park, you show your receipt to the Cast Member at the stroller rental location and you will receive your stroller for the day. You drop off your stroller as you leave the theme park, and you just show your receipt each subsequent day to receive a new stroller.
The best part about renting a stroller at
Walt Disney World Resort is that there's no lugging strollers onto the buses or monorail because you drop off your stroller as you exit the theme parks. And, you can decide to rent a stroller on certain days and not others.
I hope you have a wonderful trip to Walt Disney World Resort, Beth. Please stop back again and let me know if you have any other questions about your upcoming trip.
Wishing you many magical memories!
Erin
