Best way to get from magic kingdom to Caribbean resort

Hey there, Nikki! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m always happy to help folks navigate the various routes and transportation options that make up Walt Disney World. At 47 square miles (or approximately 25,000 acres), even experienced explorers need directions from time to time. So let’s take a look at the magical map and get you where you need to be!

The My Disney Experience mobile app can help you manage your passes and make reservations on the go, while also providing step-by-step instructions and travel time estimates to most locations around Walt Disney World. Simply select a location on the map (the pin icon along the bottom of your screen) and then tap a location to bring up the “get directions” button, or search for your desired location and you’ll see the directions link on the location’s page.

There are a couple of ways to get from the Magic Kingdom to Caribbean Beach Resort. One option is to take advantage of Walt Disney World’s complimentary bus system, which has a direct route between the Magic Kingdom and the resort. As you exit the Magic Kingdom, you’ll see signs directing you towards the buses and the numbered bus stops. Look for the stop assigned to the Caribbean Beach Resort and you’ll be on your way! The My Disney Experience app estimates your trip will take 47 minutes at the time I'm writing this, but remember that estimated travel times and route options may vary depending on the date and time you're visiting.

If you’re looking for a quicker option, then consider booking a private Minnie Van through the Lyft app. The Minnie Van service can take you to any Walt Disney World theme park, water park, resort hotel, or Disney Springs. I find Minnie Vans especially useful when going between hotels, but I generally stick to the complimentary travel options when traveling to or from the theme parks. You can find more information about Minnie Vans here

I hope this info helps and that you have an amazing vacation at Walt Disney World, Nikki. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have any other questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
